The Persistence of Memory || Salvador Dali

The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali (1904-1989)

---

It's a very unique image that Dali became famously known for. I, too, fund it very amusing although I'd like to look at this painting at how most critics would look at it and how I see it with qualia.

Surrealism deals with the subconscious dreams and thoughts that we have and paint them with such feeling and creative image of how people outside would look at it. This becomes a tool with the use of objective shapes that we see in painting. In this way, we either try to communicate how our what our subconscious thoughts are through images or merely let people try to understand who we are.
